Overview
Super
Mario Epic 3 will serve as the final installment of the SME
Trilogy. The game has been in and out of production for a year
and a half. Rather than using the built-in platform movement
of The Games Factory, Super Mario Epic 3 is being built in Multimedia
Fusion using the platform extension, a powerful tool that allows
for one of the most accurate Mario engines available.
Features
- New to the Epic series: the Power Carrot! Use the Power Carrot
(first seen in Super Mario Land 2) to transform Mario into Bunny
Mario and hover to the ground.
- For the first time in the Epic series, play as Mario or Luigi!
As is traditional in Mario games, Mario has better traction,
while Luigi is a more talented jumper.
- Popular elements from SME and SME2 return, such as SMB2 vegetables,
Advance Coins, the Fire Flower and Hammer Bros. Suit, and more!
- Advance enemy interactions! Bounce off a Goomba when you squash
him; stomp a Koopa and kick the shell; ride a Shyguy, then grab
him and throw him at other enemies!
- Carry items like springboards, keys, and P-Switches.
- A beautiful mix of official Nintendo graphics and original
sprites and backgrounds.
