...respect your roots
A Jeff Silvers Software Website

Yes, I know it's corny to have my links page set up with a "Link" theme. Nonetheless I'm sticking with it...

I don't have many links here for one reason: Most NES sites, sadly, have disapeared. Even most of the ones that haven't completely vanished are no longer updated. Still, these sites are typically good views so you should check them all out.

Oh, and keeping with the Link theme, I've established a rating system based on the three colors of his costume in The Legend of Zelda. Red sites are the best, the must-view-or-die sites; Blue sites aren't the best, but are still very good and informative; Green sites are the ones that either aren't set up very well or suffer from a lack of updates or content. Let it be known, however, that none of these are particularly bad sites. If I thought a site was crap, why would I bother listing it?

The Old School Gamer
This always has been and always will be one of my favorite NES sites. He stopped updating a long time ago, but his material is priceless. For some reason I still laugh at NES Anagrams...
Seanbaby's NES Page
A friend refered me to Seanbaby's NES Page not too long ago and I'm all the better for it. Hilarious material.
NES Player
Sites that lean more towards information than humor tend to not catch my attention, but NES Player is an exception. I especially like their pirated games section.
NES Horsemen
Love the Top Ten Lists. All and all, a generally good site.
Smackdown GT
Formerly Tha NES Smackdown, SDGT is a pretty good site (and I love the layout).
NESWorld
An almost-entirely information site, NESWorld is probably the best unofficial source for cart or box scans, as well as general NES game information.

NEStopia
This may sound shallow of me, but one reason I don't like this page as much might have to do with the layout more than the content. The owner is strictly against emulators, to the point where he doesn't even have screenshots of games on his site. It's sort of hard to do an NES site without some sort of pictures of an NES game...

NES Fountain
As far as I can tell, this is no longer updated. Not a very informative or interesting site, but still worth a view I suppose.
NES Retreat
Anther site that suffers from no updates, this one suffers from poor layout as well. A little interesting stuff is here, though.
RoyalRanger's NES Site
I have to admit, I haven't seen this one much yet. So until then, it's listed as green...
